May 6, 2005 - As you all know, this site has not been updated for some time. While my adoration of Richard Roxburgh has not waned in any way, my time is currently occupied by other events. I'm sad to say that this site will be on an extended hiatus.

I am happy to report, however, that I fully intend to return to www.RRFan.com once real life decides to give me a break. Additionally, our Discussion Forum is energetic, very active and alive!! Please join other Roxburgh fans around the globe in discussing all things RR. All information currently on the site will remain available for viewing. Thank you for your understanding.

Comingsoon.net has some limited information available. Check back here soon for more!

"Ray's Tempest" - Richard Roxburgh will be directing Ray's Tempest at the Belvoir St. Theatre in 2005. The script is reportedly play is reportedly "based on an original script and idea by Justin Monjo and Richard Roxburgh". Other stars include Elena Anaya (Van Helsing's Aleera), Gemma Jones and Yasmin Murphy. See more information on our Fragile Filmography Page, plus 2 video clips available here.

Stealth - Roxburgh spoke briefly of his role in the upcoming Stealth in this interview, posted on CHUD. (That's "Cinematic Happenings Under Development...not "Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dwellers", or whatever other meanings you might associate with the acronym...)

Stealth is currently reported as being in post-production. IMDb is showing release dates as follows: USA/July 29, 2005; Germany/August 11, 2005; France/August 17, 2005; Argentina/August 26, 2005; Sweden/September 2, 2005; Belgium/September 14, 2005; Czech Republic/October 6, 2005. It appears that Roxburgh will play a scientist in arms against an artificially intelligent stealth bomber with apocalyptic plans. Various articles have reported location problems, but recent announcements say that the film has found a new location in Leigh Creek S.A. The film's stars currently include Josh Lucas, Jessica Biel, and Jamie Foxx. Stealth is directed by Rob Cohen, who recently gained notoriety for XXX.

Romulus, My Father - Roxburgh is also scheduled to direct Romulus, My Father, a film focusing on Raimond Gaita's migration to Australia post-WWII, in late 2004 or 2005. Van Helsing co-stars Hugh Jackman and David Wenham, are both reportedly in talks for the lead, but details are hard to come by. Film-Releases.com reports that the screenplay is written by David Williamson and the cast will include Hugh Jackman and Richard Roxburgh, although information status is cited as "Rumored", so we will have to wait until these details are confirmed. Please check back for updates.

You can, of course, catch Roxburgh in Van Helsing, currently available on DVD and VHS.
