In My Own Words: You may get the feeling watching this film that you have seen it before. That is because you have, in various forms, and you will again. The premise is exciting - my own mind runs away with a dozen different directions that the story could turn - but it appears that not all good ideas are easily executed. Still, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen is worth the (just under) two hours that it runs.

The Roxburgh Rating:Although M could be considered the head (if not main) villain of the piece, Roxburgh's role is somewhat hidden behind more actionable storylines and the showcasing of Sean Connery. Roxburgh sightings in LXG are brief and far between.
Ten points for, again, playing the bad guy; fifteen points for his portrayal of the arrogance of a government agent; twenty points for furthering his exposure on U.S. screens. Total: 45
