In My Own Words: Every minute of this movie is heavily laden with loud sounds and vibrant effects. The drama is action-packed, the suspense is action-packed, the rare moments of comedy are action-packed and, of course, the action is double-action-packed. John Woo (Director) earned some unwarranted criticisms for this film - perhaps because the studio required nearly an hour and a half of the final cut to be sheared off. Ladies and gentlemen, this is an action movie. All you should expect is action. Anything else is a bonus.

Twenty-five points for making the bad guys seem sexier than the good; fifteen points for standing out in a subsecondary role; forty points for replacing Tom Cruise as the good guy for a few short minutes; negative ten points for morphing back into said Tom Cruise. Subtotal: 70
