The Touch Review by Lesley a.k.a. DraccyBride

In The Touch an ancient treasure, the essence of a Holy Man, the Sharira, is destined to be protected by a family of acrobats who would perform the great leap when the time comes to retrieve it. Karl (Richard Roxburgh), is a wealthy, handsome, and arrogant man in search of the Sharira to gain immortality. Yin (Michelle Yeoh) is the only person besides Eric (Ben Chaplin), standing in Karl's way to the Sharira.

If you like action movies you'd still be kind of iffy about it. The CG is veeerry out-dated and the acting, in the English version I've watched, besides Michelle Yeoh and Richard Roxburgh, is quite bland. Richard has MANY great moments where he takes some lame lines and makes them comical or interesting. He can work with any script. He had me rolling in many parts.

Score: 2.5/5
